Returns & Refunds

We want you to love your Bachelor Pad purchase. Returns are accepted within our straightforward policy below, with all processes handled efficiently from our Australian warehouses.

Most returns require items to be in original condition. Please contact support@bachelor-pad.com.au before returning anything to get approval and instructions.


Eligibility for Returns

  • Change of mind returns are accepted within 14 days of delivery for unused items in original packaging with all tags attached.
  • Items must be returned in the same condition as received – clean, undamaged, and unopened.
  • Non-returnable items include: personalised products, hygiene-sensitive items (e.g. pillows, mattress toppers), perishable goods, and custom-made furniture.

Not all products are returnable due to supplier policies; check the product page for specific return details at purchase.


Return Process

  1. Contact support within 14 days of delivery with your order number, photos of the item, and reason for return.
  2. Receive a Return Authorisation (RA) number and shipping instructions via email.
  3. Repackage securely using original packaging where possible, and ship to the address provided (customer pays return shipping unless faulty).
  4. Once received and inspected (typically 3-5 business days), refund issued to original payment method.

Returns must use tracked shipping – untracked parcels cannot be processed if lost.


Faulty or Damaged Items

  • Damaged on arrival or not as described: Contact support within 48 hours of delivery with photos for a free return label and full refund/replacement.
  • Manufacturing defects reported within 30 days qualify for repair, replacement, or refund at supplier discretion.
  • Our suppliers guarantee products against defects under Australian Consumer Law.

Keep all packaging until inspection is complete for faulty claims.


Refunds & Costs

  • Change of mind: Refund issued for item cost only; customer pays return shipping (approx. $10-100 depending on item size/location).
  • Faulty/damaged: Full refund including original shipping; return shipping free.
  • Processing time: 5-10 business days after item received; original shipping deducted if not used.

Refunds do not include express upgrade fees or third-party assembly costs.
